You can already set custom day/time for you goals using the FIXED time option when setting up or updating the goal
This will however only schedule your goal in fixed times instead of using the smart algorithm
We could add a feature that lets you use the smart scheduling algorithm only on specific days, this sound like what you're describing
That latter is what I am describing. I want goals to be flexible because my schedule tends to be unpredictable (and if things are not scheduled they tend not to get done), but for that flexibility to be constrained to particular days.
Got it, I'll rename the issue title then
I would like to use the proposed feature as well, for example, certain goals scheduled during the week only, weekends left open.
Thanks for the feedback.
We are working on this feature for the next release :)
Also interested in this feature! Any update on timing?
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Some habits I have pertain to work. I would like to be able to restrict these to my work days only. Similarly, I might have some longer daytime habits that would be best scheduled on weekends.
Describe the solution you'd like Two approaches might work: 1) being able to set up specific work/personal timespans (or even other taggable time windows besides these), which could then be selected when creating a habit to target only those periods; 2) adding more options during the habit creation process to indicate which days and times would be acceptable for the habit to be created within.
