[BUG] scheduling issue - Githubissues

Goaly stopped scheduling 3 out of 4 of my goals in the last couple of weeks. It was working fine for almost a year on this phone. I tried restarting my phone, unlinking - relinking goaly to calendar, set - unset vacation etc. Goaly is up to date on my phone When I set up a new goal that seem to work ok.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

Device: Moto E20
OS: Android 11
App Version Version 1.1.8

Thank you for the issue! In order to investigate this issue we are going to need a bit more information. I would really appreciate it if you could follow these steps:

Turn vacation mode on for the next month (under settings)
Disable vacation mode
Immediately after that go to settings and tap the "Send logs button" and mention the issue number in the email (#66)

This will provide us with the relevant logs for the issues you are experiencing

FYI: we might take a bit longer than usual to respond or solve this issue, we are 2 developers from Israel which as you may have heard are having some rough time recently. We will do our best to fix it ASAP regardless.

Hi, I have sent you the log as you asked for.

A couple of things I noticed:

smart scheduling doesn't work for 6-7 times per week schedule
smart scheduling for 1-5 times per week: adds an extra goal to current week, the next week is ok.
fixed scheduling: current week is ok, but doesn't schedule anything for the following Sunday - I tried this with a few variations; 1,2,3 etc goals per week on various days.

Regarding the other issues you mentioned, is the "first day of week" configured correctly? You can check in settings->First day of week

Not sure what you mean by 'configured correctly', I set the first day of the week for Monday, both in Goaly and in Google calendar, is there anything else I need to check? Thanks.

I'm sorry, for some reason I didn't get your email with the logs.
Could you please repeat the process?
Regarding the start of week day, it sounds like it is configured correctly. Once I get the logs I will be able to look into it further
