[FEATURE] Create more Times of Day and edit them #73

I have certain tasks/goals related to my child, and they go to bed earlier than i do, so that means that the time "evening" is not sufficient because goaly is placing the goals after my kid has gone to bed.

I also do not have our morning or afternoon commute added to the calendar (because it makes a lot of noise to the daily calendar to add that) which means that goaly can add goals during that time.

I guess Im not the only one who has this need and preference.

To accomodate that i would suggest the possibility to add more "time of day" categories and be able to edit the duration of them as I please (no min or max). I guess that a prompt is needed if a goal duration is longer than the time of day selected and therefore one of them should be edited to fit into the calendar.

So for example i would like us to practice a skill together or do something with my kid, but I would like it to be within the duration of our time together in the morning before daycare or afternoon before their bedtime. (and not during our commute and not after their bedtime).

With these features i would be able to ensure that goaly won't add a goal when my child is at daycare, school, or when we commute nor after their bedtime.

Thank you for the feedback!
You can achieve that in 2 ways:

  1. change the time of day of "morning"/"afternoon"/"evening" under settings
  2. use fixed time for certain goals when creating a new goal or when editing a goal

Thank you for the quick reply.

I did Unfortunately that does not meet the need. 1a) I did try to change the time, but for example, i can't set the morning to only be 1,5 hours, which i would need i this case. 1b) i can't set the afternoon to be longer than six hours.

2) what i love about this app is that it automatically fines the time so i don't need to do that. I would just love some more conditions to achieve that. I also saw a few requests on the reddit thread about conditional planning. That would be cool too.
