Not logging into new accounts #488

Open birdman5923 opened 8 months ago

Browser Version

Chrome

Exension Version

1.5.4

Actual behaviour

I've tried running the extension both logged into my account and logged out. If I'm logged in, whenever the page reloads I stay in my account and as I don't have Plus, the paywall stays there. If I'm logged out, the extension doesn't log into new accounts like it used to and there is a popup saying "Create a free account to view solutions for this book" that blocks the solution.

Reproduction steps

  1. Go to quizlet.com
  2. Go to any textbook
  3. Make sure you're logged out (doesn't work when logged in either)
  4. Enable the extension

Expected behaviour

If logged out, the user remains logged out and cannot view solutions. If logged in, the user remains in the original account and cannot view solutions.

I have also encountered this problem. Clearing cookies nor running it in incognito is able to solve the problem.

Same as well, it keeps refreshing the page but nothing changes.

So, it turns out that quizlet implemented a captcha. This means that currently the extension cannot make any new account

Didn't work for me

I didn’t mean just installing the plugin into your browser. I meant implement it into the account creation script using the bypass api may work.
