I think my issue is related; I have a few energy monitoring smart plugs and am successfully getting info from using LocalTuya. Yet i cannot use these devices in the 'new' energy dashboard. All information I find refers to https://www.home-assistant.io/more-info/statistics/. I have tried using templates (old and new type), different measurementtypes, different units,... but still, when I try to add an individual device under the "Energy" option, I get "No matching statistics found".
I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue myself if possible...
Too bad HA doesn't allow user config of these, I can imagine certain stats (like humidity and temperature) aren't as interesting/useful as long-term statistics for everyone; integrators kinda have to make the choice for their entire userbase with the current implementation :/
I'll try going through the code soon to see what's possible (if no-one else is looking to pick this up)
Possibly fixed in #721 - statistics yes, energy dashboard no.
I have tested your implementation @CloCkWeRX , I have to say using long term stats brings great value when pulling in data from a Tuya Power Clamp. These are key to tracking where energy is wasted in my home. I look forward to having it pushed to the mainstream version!
Hello,
I have been using this integration for quite a while and loving it. Just reporting that I am not able to find the Humidity and Temperature entities related to this integration when trying to use the new Statistics Card I thought iI could solve the issue by adding them manually in the config file, but this does not work either
HASSIO suggested me to link this page. https://www.home-assistant.io/more-info/statistics/
Thanks
