As far as I know, they are not supported (hopefully soon!). I too tried for a while and gave up after working out they are not supported. I run all my lights etc through TuyaLocal and had to setup the normal Tuya integration just for the temp / humidity sensors. It sucks cause it also adds all your lights again so I just went through and disabled all the duplicate entities the tuya integration added..
Oh... I was looking at localtuya for humidity/temperature sensors. So sad it doesn't work 😔
Hi, still no implementation ? Is there a possibility to add them manually ? When I press the reset button for a short time, it gets recognized, but there is only one id that it has (9). id:9 is only an enum for °F or °C in my case. What can I try to add the values manually ?
Has anybody been able to handle this kind of device since then?
I have the same issue = errno 113 on trying to add temp/humidity senro on localtuya on another forum I heard that it seems localtuya cannot handle battery-powered devices https://forum.hacf.fr/t/probleme-integration-capteur-temperature-dans-local-tuya/18880
I can confirm, I tried several times without succes. The T&H sensors can be integrated in Tuya but in localTuya it failed over and over again.
I just bought these and saw they were not working and google landed me here. Something I noticed from the log though is that the device does not seem to have its wifi or port 6668 open all the time, which I think might be why the intintegratation fails. I notice that it is not seen by the firewall or APs for long periods of time, so I think to save battery, it connects sends its temps, and disconnects and waits x minutes and does it again, so the window for this to work is very small.
Sadly I soldered mine into USB power so it has ample power all the time, but nothing you can do around this limitation I guess.

Hi,
I would like to add a temperature and humidity sensor. I managed to get the local key, device ID and IP, but when I try to add it to HA via the local tuya integration, it fails. I installed the integration, and did "add device". My device is automatically recognized : it automatically fills the local_key (which corresponds to what I found) and other information. But then, when I click on submit, it runs for around 10sec before saying "An unknown error occurred. See log for details.". Logs are empty...
Any idea about what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
