Can't get the save state to load. #41

I can't get the same file to load. I'm hosting the bot in a Docker using the Truechart Image I found online. (TrueNas Scale) I can play Emerald fine with friends but even if we save and reload the rom it starts from fresh. I host the bot on a HostPath directory and when I check the folders I see multiple folders with the rom, save state file and Json config inside each of the folders. Now I'm not the most tech savvy guy out here so If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong I would really like some help. This has a lot of potential and was fun to play for however long we did. image I've tried making an archive with the Rom & Save inside but that didn't work.

I'm gonna try to run it in a virtual machine see what the result is.

Intended use is different than what I had in mind. don't send a gba file every time you want to start a game. just start up the bot and it will pick up from where it left off by itself.

Turns out I'm kinda of a dumbass. For anyone that comes here looking for answers, The way you use the program is you load a rom in a channel. Start playing. The game is saved after every input I'm pretty sure. If you stop the bot, just start it backup in the same folder, there should be a line that says: play unlocked in channel. Then it's just a matter of starting to play again. If you load a rom again it will reset the game in the channel but fear not. If you delete the new savefiles from retrobot's savefolder it'll go back to the old save.
