Does the embedded protobuf library that Dockendorf etc are using support Editions? Do we care?

JP + JRN discussion....

JP - Semantic versioning more easily tracked.

Investigation into Embedded Proto shows it supports proto3.

JP will read up on why they moved to editions.

No action for now.
