Ending slides not shown #135

I did Military Base first, then the Master.

Tried with GVAR_ENABLE_EXPANDED_ENDING=1, then with 0.

Tried to sit through the credits, nada.

Tried to end playing, tried to continue playing, nothing.

Any ideas?

The master is convinced the plan is bust, and all you have to do is enter the motorcycle.

Can't reproduce. Everything works fine for me. When leaving the map, the cathedral gets destroyed. Then after traveling a few steps on the worldmap, I get teleported to V13, the ending slides play, and the overseer dialog starts.

Do you play in english? What game version? From here or some repack?

Rofl yeah, I did this save separate just for this ticket. It also works for me now.

Now I reloaded another save, which is after defeating the Master, entering the motorcycle, then not traveling anywhere, just clicking straight away to the Cathedral, then the "crate". In this case, it won't trigger the cards, and the fast travel to V13 either.

You have to manually ride to the open V13, go down to command center, and initiate the talk with the overseer manually.

I'm not sure what changed between the 2 saves, but you might be able to check anyway with same dat magic.

But I understand this one won't really, explicitly "prove" it since you may say the cards were shown already.

I might as well try to reproduce it again to the point where it's after the master but before the explosion, if you wish.

The issue is that you've entered the cathedral crater, then likely saved the game, reloaded, and now the forced encounter won't be happening anymore.

When you went back to Vault 13, you should have entered the cavern and not the command center - with doing that, you broke the game as well.

I have added a fail-safe to prevent this from happening now. Thanks for reporting.
