Shady Sands Guard random encounter thanks you for fighting Khans before you have done anything to Khans #228

Hello, I have a new playthrough of latest version (v1.9.3324) In Shady Sands I have reached the radscorpion caves and left. I got a random encounter in the desert next to it, it was a Shady Sands guard fighting Mantises.

The guard thanks you for giving the Khans a bloody nose for them or something to that effect, but I have not done anything to any raiders yet (not even walked over to the raiders circle)

I also have not cleared the radscorpion cave yet if that helps.

SLOT01.zip Here is my save if it helps, though it was before the random encounter. I am at the entrance of the radscorpion cave, the radscorpions are still alive.
