Hi @rougier,

Based on our discussion in issue #51 and on the article which I wrote about building the book, I created this PR.

This is an optimized process of building the book from scratch on Ubuntu 20.04 with ~450 MB of Tex Live installation (vs ~7.6 GB), only one Python package explicitly installed (vs 14 packages), and ~15 minutes of total time to build the book (vs ~1 hour).

The solution is provided by the article and bash script.
