Program does not execute past splash screen #37

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Alliance.exe
2. Splash Screen Appears
3. Splash Screen Forever

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Program is expected to open; instead freezes at splash screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.2.2 build 1418; Windows 7 Ultimate (x64)

Please provide any additional information below.
Tried executing program as administrator, ran setup repair, problem still 
exists. Did not always hang up at the splash screen.

Also, ran in compatibility mode, ran updater, uninstalled and reinstalled, 
tried version 1.2.1, but the problem still persists. I attached a screenshot of 
the splash screen, if it's any help.

Hey I resolved the problem by uninstalling alliance and using the "manual" 
install available here:
https://code.google.com/p/alliance-p2p/downloads/detail?name=Manual-Alliance-v1.
