Looks like there's nothing below in the menu #9373

Here we are in landscape mode, and depending on how many items we have selected, some of the menu choices will be in gray. However that makes us think that there's probably nothing more in the menu. I mean who would put something below further down and not concentrate all the valid choices at the top...

I mean it's not like we can see the full set of valid and invalid choices at the same time, so you might as well just have the good ones float to the top of the menu.

I mean, I was looking for something and I just couldn't find it. Oh, no wonder; it was further down past the empty choices.

I agree we should put the more common actions on top. Definitely Import/Export/Show source aren't the most common ones. That being said, the "More" submenu is something we can easily change, but the other menus not that much.

But I don't think we'll reorder the lists all the time to show the active ones on top. I'm not sure whether hiding inactive options would be a better solution. Both might be confusing.

So, in the end I don't think there's a good solution for this problem. And I don't know why would you choose the horizontal mode on a phone.

I recall that horizontal was the only way to see the full(er) Subjects. Imagine several Subjects that only differ at the end.
