Replaced BigDecimal.new to BigDecimal() #69

2 minor changes have made. Tested with 2.4.5 and 2.6.3 - works fine.

So far, so good, but without usage numbers, I'm a little concerned about breaking older versions of Ruby.

Looks like Ruby versions back through 1.8.7 are still good. Thank you.
