adjust the cube brightness separately from the master badge #60

It turns out it's really hard to look at a super bright master badge.. the badge brightness could be fixed at some reasonably low shift value.

I think we implemented this on playa. Not sure if the code got pushed. @bunnie?

not done yet, just hardcode it to something reasonable but not the dimmest setting.
