N3DS Support? #366

Ive herd ppl say this works on n3ds but im not sure how to get it setup. if this does support n3ds shouldn't we clarify it does. Plus i wouldn't mind some help getting it running gbatemp isn't giving me a clear answere.

Eh? so is it supported basicly same setup as o3ds except firm rename? how do i get the latest build to do this? Idk how to build and nightys is down.

Check the gbatemp thread again. New nightly link is up. Maybe needs updated link in readme... N3ds emunand must not be higher than 9.5.

why not higher? should i just use reinand instead? gateway supports latest emu nand so wouldnt rxtools work too? Is there any cfw that works on latest emunand on n3ds. cakesfw, reinand?

9.6+ emunand on n3ds are not supported on rxtool for now. You have to use another cfw for that

I think reinand, check gbatemp theres a thread for reinand, I dont have a n3ds so I cant explain you clearly how to make it work.

gbatemp says it has numerous users claiming latest emunand works for reinand.

Reinand and Cakes. Havent tried Cakes, but ReiNand can launch into twl (DS carts) from inside of emunand.

Cakes looks intimidating to me. Reinand seems good since it's targeted at n3ds. Hoping the n3ds i buy has an exploitable fw.

Both CakesFW and ReiNAND don't have internal region-free, but rxTools has. (Though rxTools still cannot region-free retail carts)

I dont import 3ds games i just want to backup all my physical games so i can load them from the sd.

@MelonGx For me Region Free don't work (I'm using 3DS simple CIA converter)
