Rxtools 3.0 beta wont autoboot properly on 2ds #460

6.0 sysnand

10.7 emunand

works fine every time with manual boot

hangs on blackscreen everytime when attemping autoboot

I do not know why,but when updating to 9.2 and using menuhax,autpoot work. (Why???)

im staying on 6.0 and using mset because i have linked nands and mostly use this for gba vc,as my nand space is not that large.it would.be helpful if this could actually be fixed,thanks

Just remove MSET from the update pack and update to 9.2. If you don't want to, don't complain.

that doesnt fix the issue you bully. thats a workaround.Shame on you T.T

the whole.point of bringing up such an issue is so that it can be FIXED not worked around.

I probably shouldn't be replying at 3am, but... Giving you a solution makes me a bully? Screw you then. That is your solution and it's simple. There won't be a 'fix' for an outdated and completely unnecessary firmware. The problem is your firmware, not rxtools.

@mariogamer2 why the bug? Couldn't tell you for sure, but perhaps something in reboot/source/start.s.

I don't know about you, but I personally wouldn't know the first thing to do with assembly... Best you could do is to see what happens when you splice in reboothax from a different project.

my nands need to be linked due to the fact i have more gba/dsiware vc than my sysnand can hold,thats why i havent updated to 9.2,it will instantly unlink them,call me a special case if you will,but im sure roxas75 would understand.

Roxas75? No. Not at all. He stopped working on this project long ago because it was reversed by someone and sigpatches added when most of the source was still private, and since there is roughly 200+MB free space in nand with all gba/DSIware installed (other stuff goes to SD, and more free space on N3ds), you are using a ton of injected stuff. Roxas75 certainly does not support that.

And updating will certainly not "instantly unlink them" either. Exactly 2 things will unlink your nands; system format, and tinyformat.

well maybe you can guide me through the proccess of getting a9lh then,so i can aqquire my otp as well.
