Chroma for Stardew Valley is a lightweight Windows application which connects Stardew Valley with Razer Chroma devices. You can use this to make your keyboard, mouse, headset, etc. react to events, elements & other in-game functions by creating visual alerts using the devices' countless lighting options.

Lighting effects don't load correctly #2

When I first tried this, it just simply didn't work, and there was no way to make it work. After trial and error, I realized that unplugging my x360 controller made it work correctly.. However, after that first time, it stopped working. This time, however.. after launching the game, it goes from blue, to the "Wave" profile, in synapse. Why? I have no idea. Clearly, it shouldn't be doing this..

I did notice, though, that if I open the exe, disable "Toggle Lighting Effects", open the game, then enable "toggle lighting effects", it seems to work.. I think it may take a few seconds to load, but it seems to work correctly..

I'm on windows 10, with a Black Widow chroma, deathadder chroma, and a firefly.

When the app is installed correctly, the keyboard or other Razer devices connected will default to a blue colour to indicate standby.

When the app detects Stardew Valley is running, but not in-game (ie. On the main menu), the devices will start a multicolour wave. More of a cool main menu effect then anything else.

When you start/load your game file the app should lock in after 5-30 seconds of gameplay (exact time seems to vary depending on system performance) but never beyond 30 seconds.

From what you're describing, controller aside, the app seems to be running as intended. Hopefully that helps clarify some of those concerns. :)

Are you running Vanilla Stardew Valley? Also what keyboard are you using?

I'm having the same problem, but the lighting effects don't work even when trying everything. My keyboard doesn't light up blue. Even after playing at least 10 minutes, the lighting effects wouldn't come on. Chroma Apps is enabled, and the lighting effects is enabled in the task bar Any Ideas?
