Save locations, RTZ button to return to said location

I'm thinking, we could keep two times, one that remembers "true zero" as in the place where the "tape" begins meaning where all the wav files begin. Then the second being some saved location. So if we rewind behind the saved location, our new zero, it will only rewind into negative time up to the true zero (real beginning).
