Copy ALL Text in current buffer #344

The older Cygwin terminal window used to have a "right-click" option to "Select
ALL" when copying text from a window.

This feature does not appear to be in mintty, although mintty is far superior
to the what was previously distributed with Cygwin.

Is it possible to have this feature added please.

But, but, it's already there, below Copy and Paste, as can be seen on the
screenshot on the project home page.

My bad!

I see the menu on the home page, but I don't see that menu on my version.

I am running version mintty 1.0.3, which I downloaded by default with my
Cygwin distribution.

Am I running an old version? I can try upgrading from the home page.

Thx for the extremely prompt reply!

Love mintty!

Sam O.

I just downloaded mintty version 1.1.1 for Cygwin 1.7.15-1 and I confirmed
mintty was at version 1.1.1 after the install.

But I still cannot see the menu displayed on the home page.

Am I doing something really stupid? What should I click to get that menu?

Thx again,
Sam O.

Andy,

Forget it - I'm a moron!

I fixed it with the right-click option - I had it set to "paste" instead of
"show menu".

Thx again for the great service to humanity!

No problem, you're welcome. Note that if you've got the right mouse button set
to paste or extend, you can still reach the context menu by holding down Shift
while clicking, or by pressing the menu key (usually between right Alt/AltGr
and Ctrl).
