Lock header rows in spreadsheet #1

Open axman6 opened 1 year ago

axman6 commented 1 year ago

The Google Sheets tabs would be easier to navigate if the header and first columns were locked; see https://www.techjunkie.com/google-sheets-lock-row/

Totally spaced the first column - fixed on the full Sheet, thanks very much!

I did already have the top row frozen on the full Sheet - are you seeing that?

I'm not aware of a way to freeze rows or columns on the automatically exported version, unfortunately.

axman6 commented 1 year ago

Hmm, in the browser I’m not seeing either frozen, might be a limitation of publishing with Sheets.

To double-verify, near the beginning of the doc is an "alternate versions" link. Is the full Google Sheets version properly freezing for you? If so, then it's an export-specific issue that I don't have a workaround for yet, and this issue can be closed. If not, we can dig in further.

The top two rows are indeed locked in the original spreadsheet document.

Hmm, not sure I found the alternative version, all the links I did find have the same issue, so probably nothing you can do. I'd open it in the Google Sheets app, but apparently 20 years of using computers has not prepared me for Google's "simple" interface
