As an alternative way to visualize tweets frequency in the territory it would be possible to create an interactive
map with dynamic loading of tweets.

This video explains the basic of Datashader for that purpose

If a visualization is combined with buttons to filter, it should be able to see relevant changes in the density of tweets.
