jail-buddy didn't work #547

The guard searches the area with a wary eye.
"Gotcha!" the guard crows with glee.
The town guard, with the help of several others, wrestle you to the ground, bind you in chains, and drag you off to jail.

Arriving at the jail, the guard submits you to a brutal strip search and throws your things into a large sack.  From there you are dragged down a dark hallway and into a cell.  As the door shuts, you hear the guard growl, "...and there you'll STAY!"

The door slams shut, a sound not unlike that of a tomb closing.

A town guard returns, glancing carefully around the room for any further offenders.

From the stench here, it is apparent that the guards have little interest in coddling criminals.  Mounds of musty-smelling hay have been pushed up along the walls, though it is impossible to imagine sleep as a viable possibility here.  You also see a barred window, a heavily barred door and a mound of smelly hay.
Obvious exits: none.

A runt-sized farm pig trots into the room.
The cell door opens, and an armored guard enters, pointing a finger at you.  "Come along, Halfling, it's time to face the judge."
You are quickly escorted out, and the door closed behind you.

A chill races through your spine as you stare up at the platform from which justice is so mercilessly dispensed by the local magistrate.  A few low benches stretch out along the western wall, where a heavily-armed guard oversees visitors and defendants alike with a stern, watchful eye.  
Obvious exits: west.
The judge gazes down at you with stern eyes, "Gabellia, you stand before this court accused of thievery.  Though the evidence against you is considerable, final judgement has not yet been reached.  How do you plead?"

The judge sighs heavily, "Your silence shall be taken as an indication of your guilt, and your unwillingness to accept it.  Let us proceed."

The judge sighs.  "Gabellia, for your crimes, I find it upon the mercy of this court to send you to the stocks to serve out your punishment.  Think long upon your actions and perhaps you might be rehabilitated, but I doubt it."

The judge nods to the guards.  "Take this lucky Halfling out of my sight!"  He gives you a long, threatening stare before arising and retiring to his quarters.

Two guards approach you and push you into a dark corner where you are required to undress before them.  One of them quickly empties your things into a sack and quickly leaves you.

The other grabs you roughly, dragging you off somewhere with much shoving and pushing.

Your ankles and wrists are quickly fit into stocks, leaving you helpless and embarrassed.  The guard quickly leaves the area to return to other duties.

[The Crossing, Town Green Southwest - 791]
The hedgerow to the west meets the row of tall lunat trees that separates the Town Green from the commercial traffic on Lunat Shade Road due south.  The growth is especially dense here, with no way to slip past either of the living fences.  The small thorns on the hedges, to keep out stray livestock in search of prime pasture, look daunting in any case.  You also see a street urchin and the Town Pillory.
Obvious paths: north, northeast, east, west.

The urchin peers into a box full of rotten tomatoes, poking them to check for proper squishiness.
A young Human woman totters in, moving off to the side of the road and walking more briskly as she eyes the stocks.  Whether her haste is due to the appearance or stench of those present remains unknown.

A guard enters the room, looking about casually.  "Hmm...", he says, stroking his chin, "Gabellia, Gabellia...."  His eyes land on you and he exclaims, "Found you!  Well, don't YOU look pitiful!" Whistling to himself, he unlocks the bonds of the pillory, allowing you your freedom.
[Though you tried to be thorough, you feel something was left within the small sack.]

Just as the guard is leaving, he grabs you by the shoulder and says, "Oh yeah, here's your junk."
You accept a sack and retrieve the equipment stored inside.
Feeling the weight of the sack, you think you had better check its contents to make sure it's really empty.

I don't think there's anything we can do here, this messaging matches everything jail buddy is looking for.
