How can you make that the line is jumping to the next one (don't how to say this in english) that you don't have to scroll to the right all the time? Tony is able to do this in his program but he didn't remember where to change it and I can't find it either. thanks

i think you mean the automated tab. this thing started happening to me today and it was driving me bananas. i am not sure what exactly i did that fixed it, but try clicking the following sequence:

RStudio/Preferences/Code Editing/

then uncheck "insert spaces for tab." then shut it down with CMD-q and open again. this whole preferences window is actually worth checking in detail, since there are some non-default options that are very useful

actually, I was thinking something else...

when I have a line that has 350 symbols, I only see very little of this line and I have to go to the right to see the whole line.

You have an automated line-break in your R-studio - I want to get this too.... do you know where to change this - this turns me at list kiwi!

aaaah, i think i was the one helping Tony with that:

RStudio/Preferences/Code Editing/

then check "soft-wrap R source files"

that will do it http://goo.gl/UDmwu
