R-project vs. R-studio #2

I accidentally downloaded and installed R-project instead of R-studio. Hopefully "R-project" is legit since I just ran the .exe . . .

I think you can install both - R-project and R-studio. I have both installed but I only use R-studio.

Do you want to play with the R-script now? Then I close it. I did recode most of the immunosuppressants - not yet steroids and zenapax and I would appreciate if you could control that I didn't miss any variable.

agree, R-project is just the standard R installation

i would probably stick with RStudio since learning one well will boost your productivity. that said, there is a bunch of other interfaces http://goo.gl/YjVWy . I like to use emacs with ESS, but would not recommend it unless you have a lot of time to learn the environment

btw, have you guys tried to code at the same time? interested in what kinds of problems you might have found

mworni commented 12 years ago

Most likely we did not since the program didn't work yet for tony. we might try once by purpose!

R studio is just a little more user friendly.
