Support for Windows 8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Running the executable or the .jar file under Windows 8

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The shimeji, when selected via the menu, should normally appear, but it doesn't.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest (1.0.3) Calm and Mischievous version under Windows 8 Ultimate x64

Please provide any additional information below.
The icon tray menu works perfectly but no shimeji appears

I had the same exact same problem as well. I also have a Windows 8 (x64). I got 
it to work by downloading and installing the 32 bit java 6 from here -> 
http://www.oldapps.com/java.php?old_java=11928#download-section
(you can also find it on oracles website, but they require you to make an 
account and stuff)
The executable still does the same as before, but when I run the .jar, it works 
perfectly.

I know that using Java 6 it should work, but it would be nice if it were fixed 
with Java 7, BTW thanks for the feedback :3
