RplantCpu-v5.0.36\cpuminer-Avx2.exe --algo yescrypt --url stratum+tcps://yescrypt.eu.mine.zergpool.com:16233 --user ******************** --pass c=BTC,mc=BSTY,ID=*************,pl=0 --cpu-affinity AAAA --quiet --threads 5 --api-bind=4000

Back to command line without any error message

I have not tested any other pools.

rplant8 commented 10 months ago

--cpu-affinity 0xAAAA

UselessGuru commented 10 months ago

--cpu-affinity 0xAAAA does not make a difference

rplant8 commented 10 months ago

try cpuminer-Avx2.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcps://yescrypt.eu.mine.zergpool.com:16233 -u ... without affinity and other options

UselessGuru commented 10 months ago

cpuminer-Avx2.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcps://yescrypt.eu.mine.zergpool.com:16233 -u ... without affinity and other options

still broken.

5.0.34 does not have these problems with all tested algos (just retested) and the same parameters: Allium Argon2d4096 Ghostrider HeavyHash HMQ1725 Mike MinotaurX Neoscrypt Yescrypt YescryptR8 YescryptR32 Yespower Yespower2b YespowerIc YespowerLtncg YespowerR16 YespowerSugar YespowerTide YespowerUrx

I'm having this issue on both Zen3 rigs I have. It seems to be related to Win11 or some form of HVCI as seen by the app crashes in event viewer.

I have memory integrity enabled on the first rig I had an issue with and assumed it was related to that. But the error above is from a clean Win11 23H2 install with no anti-virus except built in Defender/Security. The entire "PoW" folder is exempted as I've run for the past 5 years or so. No results in Protection History or Allowed Threats. Exploit protection is default: CFG: default (on); DEP: default (on); Mandatory ASLR: default (off); Bottom-up ASLR: default (on); High-entropy ASLR: default (on); SEHOP: default (on); Validate heap integrity: default (on) Secure boot enabled on both rigs. No memory isolation option on rig 2 as SVM is disabled in bios
