Running a link checker currently gives about 100 broken links on the site. They fall in the following categories:

~70 links in release notes to the old ticket system
Links to https://lists.rpm.org/ which does not have a valid SSL certificate
Links to tarballs in releases notes that moved to historic/ sub folder
Links to external projects no longer there on http://rpm.org/software.html
Broken favicon links for pages in subdirectories
Few broken links within the docs or to the rpm GH repo

With #24 merged and a few more minor fixes there are now no broken links left!
