Bad response when running mosh-server: 'bash: --: invalid option #214

Trying to run on chromebook, v0.5.6.

After entering public key passphrase, get: Bad response when running mosh-server: 'bash: --: invalid option

Followed by bash usage message. The remote command is set to default.

mosh-server is installed on the remote and I am able to use mosh from my other non-chromebook systems.

Any suggestions?
