11 years ago After some discussion it turned out it's probably better to have them non-random:
- recommendations for other users are deterministic (wouldn't be if this is implemented)
- it would look weird if two users with empty lists would get different recommendations
Sooo it looks like this has to be rolled back.
After checking it with a few users that have no manga in their list, it seems that static recommendations aren't randomized and show exactly the same list for every of them.
Since the static list 50 titles long, they should be randomized for every user.
