Not able to increase icon size #74

in settings >launcher>icon- I am not able to increase the size of the icons. the present icon size is a little small for father to use it.

system/build.prop change from 120 to 160 dpi thenr eboot

I am sorry. I did not get it. there is no system/build.prop. kindly help. thank you

if you have no build.prop in system/ then its unlikely your device will boot drcuteguy.

I changed it from 120 to 160. but am not able to save it in build.prop

Use root explorer (market). Navigate to system. On top left, click on "make r/w" (the system folder is read only by default, you need to make it writable) Long press on build.prop and select "open in text editor" Make changes and close. It will ask for save, say yes. Done! (I suggest 130 instead of 120, 160 makes you loose too much space) You have to reboot. It may take a little while before icons show. Be patient. Note that the entire screen will be resized, so if you previously had icons on the bottom of your screen, they wont be visible anymore. I suggest you clean your screen(s) of icons before you resize.
