I am still running the last update from 2023.6.x (no July updates yet for me), and I'm having the same issue. So your 2023.7.1 update had nothing to do with it.
Did anyone manage to figure this out? I am a new user and cant get it to complete setup. It just keeps saying username, password or address is wrong. The Dahua VTO integration works with the same credentials so, I am fairly certain it is an issue with this integration.

I haven't found any way to resolve it. I decided to switch to the built in Amcrest integration and set up Frigate. That's working fine for me.
I've been using this with my Amcrest AD410 doorbell, and it's worked beautifully for a few months now. In the last couple of days the integration has stopped working- it repeatedly displays the "Failed Setup, will retry" error on the integration page. It attempts to reload every minute or so, but always returns the same error. I've attached the logs, which are above my ability to troubleshoot.
I've confirmed the hardware and wifi connectivity are fine, as everything is working normally in the Amcrest app. The problem seems to be with the integration. I did update to HA core 2023.7.1 just before this problem started occurring.
