Thanks for this, @tathastu871. Git master should now be fixed; I've updated gnulib to get a version that has specific Android support in its vasnprintf implementation. Can you confirm that it now works, please, and I'll make a release.

Works It keeps throwing Signfclose (stdout): Broken pipe recode: Untranslatable input in step `ISO-10646-UCS-2..ANSI_X3.4-1968'

on every curl site output
