It just continues to load and I've left it for hours.

If you mean playlists with 50+ videos, it works just fine on my end. Please try it in a private window on your browser.

I must be doing something wrong then because this one doesn't work.

pl-sort is only able to list public playlists. The above playlist is unlisted.

Anyway you could get pl-sort to work with unlisted playlists.
