Ability to configure revision #28

Hey! I recently noticed that the default revision was changed to be the commit hash instead of the branch, with no option to change it to the branch (like it previously was).

Would a configuration to decide which one we'll use would be ok? I can work in PR, just want to make sure this would be ok.
