add gingerbread-ish icon #471

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. receive SMS
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
I don't know if gingerbread is supported yet or not (it works great though) but
could you add an option to switch between gingerbread and froyo icons? the
black icons look weird on the black background.
However, this is a really minor "issue", not even an issue, just a request

well, you are right. i feel it some kind of anoying too. but quite a bunch of
google apps do black on black notifications too :(
you could speed up the process by sending a new icon ;)

Here is an icon I made, following google's icon design guidelines
(http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design_status_b
ar.html)

They're all 3 sizes, I don't know if they're all needed and if it's the only
icon or if there are more; I don't know how to open the .apk file, so if
there's anything missing just tell me and I'll add it. It actually turned out
to be really easy.
