Special Characters not working with Betamax connector #482

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Send an SMS from WebSMS with Betamax connector Domain = www.voipbuster.com 
and use special characters.They arrive as questionmarks (android phone) or "y" 
(on a Samsung Phone).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WebSMS v3.6 with Betamax connector on an lg Optimus One with Android 2.2.1
