SMS showed as unsent in SMSdroid AND a long-time black-screen #523

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In a Thread write an answer in the textbox at the bottom
2. Short click on send (with WebSMS) - usually with GSM sms
4. You see the send message icon in taskbar and a black screen
3. With luck you get back to the thread after 20 sec. - or have to use "back" 
button (then I see the thread for a part of a second before it goes back to the 
thread-overview because of one "back" button click) 

Would be great if SMSdroid can recognize when a message is sent sucessfully. 
Because when I do a lon click on Send (websms) and choose the WebSMS App and 
send the message from there - I have no problem with "unsent" (but sent) 
messages.
And why is there a black-screen for such a long time? Would be great if it 
would switch faster back to the thread after sending a message.

WebSMS v3.7.1; SMSdroid 0.7.2.1 @ HTC Desire - Original O2 ROM - Android 2.2
