Double notification for incoming SMS (SMSdroid) #575

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install smsdroid
2. Receive a sms message

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should only get one (1) notification for this new message.
Instead, I get two notifications, one from smsdroid and the other one from the 
standard google sms app.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Whatever is current on android market on 2011-09-03.

Nexus S, Oxygen ROM 2.2.2, Android 2.3.5

Please provide any additional information below.
Please have a look at the attached screenshot. It shows, that there are two 
notifications; one with a grey icon and one with a green icon.

justt deactivate the notification in android's sms app.
