Improper sizing of book settings dialog #44

There are two problems with the sizing of the settings dialog on the book page. First, there is a large blank space at the top of the dialog: settings1 Second, after one of the drop down menus is expanded and contracted, the dialog doesn't shrink back the its old size: settings2 Neither of these used to be a problem, so I suspect they were caused by changes in the SDK.

I've submitted two bugs about this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1337555 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1337556.

I'm no longer sure that this is a new problem. Previously, I hadn't seen the large-screen dialog much, so these problems would have been more hidden. And I remember oddities about the alignment then.
