This extends @johrstrom PR work to:

include a client that shares some logic
update the README to describe the options to include/not include a DOI
give the user the option to not provided a .zenodo.json (and use the previous metadata)
allow a glob or pattern match for the archive (and thus more than one file)
preparing for support of sandbox mode (but not implemented here because in testing we don't get access to records!)
