Show me the tasks I've configured #17

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add a task via preference recorder (or whatever)
2. try to find the list of tasks in the GUI.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
2. a list of configured tasks is shown somewhere in the GUI.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.0.2, Ubuntu-ish Hardy-ish

Please provide any additional information below.

Are you asking to have it list which tasks are available, even those which pass?

I see this as the following table:

task | scope | type | status | re-check |

What's the actual use case here - Why do you want to know this, and what do you
want to do with that information.

Right now I need this to check that WM doesn't work as described in issue 34.

Per David: "I want to know what's installed. Like Help/About shows me what
version I'm using. The plugin knows what it's running, but it's not telling
me." Like that?

Yes. But also "The plugin knows which rules it was able to find, but it's not
telling me."

Turns out there was already something pretty close. If you try to add a blocked
task, you'll get some subset of this.

So now I'm reusing it and converting it from a list view to a table view.

I'm going to mark this as fixed, as there's something that's basically working.
If you want more, contributions are certainly welcome!

I can't tell either, it was a while back. All I did this morning is widen that
dialog a bit for readability.
