Conversion to engineering units? #9

Seems the conversion to useful engineering units is missing for some datasets.

Voltage seems more useful than "counts":

Here's what this dataset looks like on OOICI-ERDDAP: 2017-09-20_10-55-51

Here's what it looks like on OMS++ ERDDAP: 2017-09-20_10-56-13

@rsignell-usgs not sure why the conversion is not contained in the NetCDF files. The requests for ERDDAP NetCDFs are not filtering out any variables, so I would expect the converted voltage (units=Volts) to be there. Will follow up with the data team once they all get back from Alaska.

@rsignell-usgs response from Mike Vardaro, OOI Data Manager:

Hi John,

I’ll have to dig into the documentation to see where the calculated voltage can be back-calculated or provided elsewhere. I do note that thermistor temperature is also being provided in volts.

This could be an instance where user-created algorithms would be helpful, if we can get them inserted into uFrame in systematic way.

More soon, Mike V.
