@rsilvabioinfo Could you please create a git tag or github release for what you consider beeing version 1.1? This would be preferable for the conda recipe.

Hello @PertuyF do you have stats on how many people are using this tool, and which methods they are using? There is a long time I do not update it, and I don't see citations of any discovery made by w4m, is it worth investing time on updates?

I have no real numbers, but you can have information on download of conda package from there. Some people may be actively using this tool as there is currently an issue open on Bioconda (see https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-recipes/issues/15639). Likely you can get in touch with these users if you want more informations on their usage.

Plus, I noticed that the user manual indicates the code is licensed under GPL (>= 2), but this is ambiguous (GPL-2 or GPL-3?) and no license file is explicitly available in this repo.

Your work is still useful to some people, tagging a release and fixing the license would just make things clean, and it shouldn't be very time consuming :)
