2 years ago Could you try the beta release https://github.com/rsjaffe/MIDI2LR/releases/tag/v5.3.0.0 and see if that fixes things? Your problem is unique (never reported before), but I did fix some issues with excess queries to Lightroom, and that might help your issue.

2 years ago Will do asap, sorry workflow has shifted for the winter and I don't use it as much. Will try tonight.

2 years ago Well, now v5.2 isn't even doing it. It may have been a Lightroom v10 thing? I'll have to keep you posted.

2 years ago So I had some time today AND had a new overlay printed :)
It appears for now that 5.3.0.2 has fixed my loupe preview loading hang.
In 5.2 it was repeatable. Loupe preview loading hang, disable plugin, reboot Lightroom, loading hang gone.
Hasn't done it yet to me in 5.3.0.2, I will keep you posted.
The hang was big for me because I focus cull up to 30k images per weekend of motorsports. Since Loupe is faster to advance than develop, I reject from there. Which also meant I was super happy when you implemented quick develop options, as I can increase exposure now without loading the dev module. HUGE time savings across so many images.

2 years ago I also love that I can straighten crop with the big silver slider without ever going to the crop screen. That's awesome. One thing to add is the reset delay on that feels very quick. I'm still evaluating my crop angle when the tool disappears.

MIDI2LR.log Trying to build either Standard or 1:1 AFTER IMPORT just hangs and does not even start.
Disabling the plugin and restarting Lightroom reverts to normal behavior of preview creation.
Plugin enabled also appears to create a Loupe view hangup, where "Loading..." will display indefinitely until I move to the Develop module and then back to Loupe.
