The unit tests for giveFocus() are failing in Safari.

Note that this problem only occurs in XHTML mode.

Incorrectly set the issue status in my last commit, updating it to Started now.

The tests are failing because they test against document.activeElement, which 
is 
seemingly always undefined in Safari XHTML mode. Given that this property has 
been 
incorporated in HTML 5 (previously it was just an IE extension that was also 
supported 
by Firefox), I feel justified in marking this issue as WONTFIX. Presumably, it 
will 
cease to be an issue at some future date.
