As a community member, I want to know that new construction is sustainable, so that my children have a world to live in.

From the Housing Element Annual Progress Report 2019, p19: "Program 6.4: Prioritize implementation of an expedited permitting process that encourages and enables solar/photovoltaic facilities for residential and commercial properties."

"Provisions for expediting permitting of solar facilities were incorporated in the building code in 2015."
