Bumps truffle from 5.2.4 to 5.4.21.

v5.4.21 – The downsides of delicious munchies

Oops! Something about the last version (v5.4.20) must've caused me to goof up with versions, and two packages accidentally broke semver. Putting this release out just to ensure we can deprecate the two bad package versions. Sorry about this!

(This won't affect you unless you use @truffle/compile-solidity or @truffle/debug-utils in your projects directly)

Nonetheless:

How to upgrade

We recommend upgrading to the latest version of Truffle by running:

npm uninstall -g truffle
npm install -g truffle

v5.4.20 – Delicious munchies

Evening everyone! 👋

Got some enhancements for you this week! Firstly, if you've been using the new options-style arguments for @truffle/hdwallet-provider, you'll have noticed that the constructor used syntax new HDWalletProvider({ providerOrUrl })... that's pretty ugly 😱, so now you can do { url: "..." } or { provider: ... } separately, like you probably wanted to do 👍.

There's some other good stuff in this release, too, including a fix to @truffle/contract by @msoni89, who noticed that this package was making unnecessary network connections, and thus PR'd a change to stop that awful chattiness. Thanks @msoni89! 🙇

Thanks also to @MrGrizz for offering some attention on the lesser-known truffle config command 🙏; this week's release includes a change that provides a bit more feedback to you when running this command. Note: right now, truffle config is only used to enable Truffle's opt-in analytics gathering. Did you know that you can configure Truffle to give us some highly anonymous usage info? Please run truffle config set analytics true to help us improve our tools! (And now, thanks to @MrGrizz, you'll get some feedback to confirm when you turn this on or off!)

On the debugger front, we've also got an improvement for those of you who use truffle debug to step through transactions instruction-by-instruction: the ; command allows to step through a trace one EVM opcode at a time, and now this command provides a bit of context so you can follow the trace more easily!

And a final note, congrats and thank you to @lsqproduction for your first released change to Truffle! Welcome to the team! 🎉

Anyway, hope you enjoy this week's offerings! As usual, check the changelog below ⬇️ for more!

Until next time... cheers! 🍃
