How to install in Node-Red? #1

Closed amsel77 closed 2 years ago

Hi @amsel77, for now, this SCD4x node is not listed in Node-RED's library, because I don't have a way to test it – I don't have a Sensirion SCD4x sensor.

You can still install this locally, and it might work. See Testing a node module locally.

Does that work for you?

Hi Ron,

many thanks for the answer.

I'm unfortunately still a node-red beginner.

The manual installation @Pi was successful but

with worrying messages about dependencies.

I would have to deal with the testing more closely,

but I have already installed an SCD41 and it works

with the test program provided by the manufacturer.

To enable listing in the Node-Red library and to support

your useful work for node-red community I would be

willing to send you an evaluation board (SCD41).

Just give me your postal address- if I can trust that it will

lead to the desired result...

Greetings to Prague

Jan

Hi Jan, sorry for the delay. Did you have any luck getting the sensor to work in Node-RED in the meantime? I really appreciate the offer to send me one board, but I'm afraid I can't accept it for now. I will likely get one board for myself anyway though. I'll let you know if I manage to test the package and publish it.
