Mac Emoji #353

When trying to type an Emoji using the Mac Emoji Keyboard (the one you get when you press Command + Control + Spacebar), the input type seems to do some sort of replacement and remove that special non ASCII character. Copying + Pasting works fine.

Does this work as expected in Safari?

I don't have this problem, it is working as it should for me. Could you provide som debug info from XCode if there's still a problem?

Still not working for me. How do I extract debug info from XCode?

can confirm, it (Mac Emoji Keyboard) works everywhere else but this app. you can see the selected emoji for a brief moment and then it disappears. as was mentioned in the original post a copy-paste works fine.
